Mossad head: Syria speeding up rearmament of their army

Syria is speeding up the rearmament of their army, Mossad head Meir Dagan said on Monday.
"The military alliance between Damascus and Teheran has accelerated the arms race in the region," Dagan told ministers during a meeting of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, but added that Syria has no intention of attacking Israel.
