Movement for Quality Gov't protests Hanegbi appt.

The Movement for Quality Government protested on Tuesday over the fact that the Kadima Party had appointed Tzahi Hanegbi to be one of the instructors in a day-long session to teach freshmen party candidates about political and parliamentary work. Eli Sulam, the director-general of the movement, wrote to Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, listing all of Hanegbi's run-ins with the law and urging him to cancel the assignment. "If Kadima does not correct this matter, it will broadcast a message that the party is indifferent to corruption and even encourages extremely improper behavior by public officials," Sulam said.
