The Movement for Quality Government protested on Tuesday over the fact that the Kadima Party had appointed Tzahi Hanegbi to be one of the instructors in a day-long session to teach freshmen party candidates about political and parliamentary work.
Eli Sulam, the director-general of the movement, wrote to Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, listing all of Hanegbi's run-ins with the law and urging him to cancel the assignment.
"If Kadima does not correct this matter, it will broadcast a message that the party is indifferent to corruption and even encourages extremely improper behavior by public officials," Sulam said.
