Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Defense Minister Amir Peretz toured the Lebanese border on Tuesday. Olmert and Peretz received security briefs from IDF commanders, including Galilee Division Commander Brig.-Gen. Gal Hirsch, who is slated to be promoted to head the Strategic Command in the General Staff.
