Olmert says Israeli Arabs have been discriminated against for sixty years

"For sixty years there has been discrimination against Arabs in Israel. The discrimination is built-in and intolerable," Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said on Wednesday. Olmert made the statement while testifying at a meeting of the parliamentary committee that is investigating why Arab citizens have not been incorporated into the public services, Army Radio reported. MK Ahmed Tibi, chairman of the committee, proposed establishing an apparatus to supervise over the incorporation of Arabs into Israeli public services.
