The Palestinian Authority will in a few months demand that Israel release all Palestinian prisoners from its jails, PA Minister for Prisoners Affairs Ashraf Ajrami told Army Radio on Friday morning. Ajrami also said that Public Security Minister Avi Dichter had turned down his request to free Fatah Tanzim leader Marwan Barghouti. "He (Dichter) said that under no circumstances will Barghouti be released soon, but now there are negotiations and during negotiations everything changes. Each side has its position and we will reach a compromise," said Ajrami. Dichter denied that the two had discussed the release of Barghouti or other prisoners.
