Palestinian accused of cooperating with Israel sentenced to death

A Palestinian man accused of cooperating with Israel was sentenced to death by a Military court in Bethlehem on Wednesday. The man, who worked at a gas station in Gush Etzion in the 1990s, was found guilty of treason and cooperating with Israel. According to the indictment, while working at the gas station, the man gave Israel information about Palestinian stone-hurlers. He later joined a Palestinian security apparatus and allegedly informed Israel of Palestinian terrorist cells.
