IDF soldiers on Saturday afternoon detained a 17-year-old Palestinian who was carrying a pipe bomb at the Hawara checkpoint south of Nablus. The pipe bomb was found when the soldiers searched the Palestinian after he aroused their suspicion. Following the incident, Israeli security forces decided to temporarily close the checkpoint.
