Palestinian and Jewish residents of Hebron were hurling rocks at each other in a flare-up of tensions in the West Bank town on Saturday.
The IDF said that the fighting took place next to a house of disputed ownership where settlers are staying.
Medics said four Palestinians were moderately wounded before Israeli security forces got the situation under control.
