Four others reportedly wounded; IDF issues no official statement on incident.

IDF troops killed a Palestinian near Beit Lahia in the Gaza Strip andwounded four others, Palestinian sources said Monday afternoon.The sources said the people fired upon may have been farmers.So far, the military did not issue a statement on the incident.Israel Radio reported that the man was a member of the Popular Resistance Committees.The incident comes after nearly two weeks of quiet on the Gazafront. In the last fire exchange, soldiers wounded three terroristsnear the Gaza border.The IDF opens fire on Palestinians who come within a certaindistance of the border fence, after repeated attempts by terrorists toplant explosives along the fence, aimed at hurting Israeli patrols.
