Petah Tikva stabber's remand extended for 9 days

The remand of Ahmad Kafina, the terrorist who stabbed Kinneret Ben-Shalom to death on Sunday and wounded four others, was extended for nine days on Monday morning. Kafina said during his interrogation that he decided to perpetrate a suicide attack after he sank into depression following his expulsion from university. Ben-Shalom's funeral procession is set to leave from her home in Petah Tikva at 2 p.m., and to continue to the cemetery in east Rishon Lezion. The four wounded victims are still in the hospital.
