Prime Minister Ehud Olmert told his British counterpart Tony Blair on Monday that a ceasefire could be declared as soon as an international force would be deployed in southern Lebanon.
Olmert also stated that an effective force should also be deployed along the Syrian-Lebanese border, Army Radio reported.
