Police detain man standing outside Umm el-Fahm waving Israeli flag

Umm el-Fahm Police detained a 40-year-old Samaria man on Monday morning after he stood at the entrance to the northern town waving an Israeli flag.
Police said they detained the man out of concerns for his wellbeing and to check what his intentions were.
Police were on a heightened state of alert in the area a day after they decided to postpone a controversial "Jewish pride" march planned for the Arab town by far-right activists Baurch Marzel and Itamar Ben-Gvir.
