The price of gas was to be raised at the stroke of midnight on Saturday by 6.95 percent throughout Israel.
As a result of the increase, self-service benzine 95 octane would cost NIS 5.08 a liter, while full-service would cost NIS 5.21 a liter; benzine 96 octane would cost NIS 5.10 a liter, while full-service would cost NIS 5.23 a liter.
