Reservists end hunger strike, continue protest

Members of the Movement for Quality Government and army reservists who have been demanding the establishment of a state commission of inquiry on the Lebanon war on Thursday put an end to a hunger strike they have been on for 19 days. The protesters said, however, that they would continue their campaign by camping out next to the homes of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Defense Minister Amir Peretz. On Wednesday Shaul Mofaz visited the protesters and expressed support for a state inquiry.
