Retired Supreme Court justice and Holocaust activist Moshe Bejski passed away on Tuesday at the age of 86, it was reported on Wednesday.
Bejski, a Holocaust survivor who came to Israel from Poland at the age of 24, was appointed to the Supreme Court in 1979 and served for 12 years.
He was perhaps best known for heading the Bejski Commission, the state inquiry commission that investigated the manipulation and collapse of bank shares in the 80s.
He will be laid to rest on Thursday afternoon in the Kiryat Shaul cemetery in Tel Aviv.
