Rubik Danilovitz defeats Beersheba mayor Turner with 60.4% of vote

38-year-old Rubik Danilovitz defeated incumbent Beersheva Mayor Yaakov Turner in the city's municipal elections early Wednesday morning, by a 30 point margin. Danilovitz received 60.4 percent of the vote and Turner 30%.
Speaking to Channel 2 with his voice breaking, Danilovitz said only that he was "very happy" with the results.
