Sharoni withdraws request to separate from pensioner party

The leader of the Gil party rebels, MK Moshe Sharoni on Monday withdrew his request that the Knesset Committee approve the breakaway from the pensioners' party.
During the deliberation in the committee many MKs from the coalition and opposition voiced their concern regarding two clauses in the coalition agreement with Arkadi Gaydamak's Social Justice Party, whose legality, according to the Knesset legal advisor, was questionable.
Sharoni is expected to rework the coalition agreement and resubmit his request to separate from Gil.
