Sisters arrested for Beersheba Japanese knife attack

Two sisters, aged 15 and 17, were arrested by police in Beersheba on Monday on suspicion of slashing a 24-year-old woman repeatedly with a Japanese knife. The alleged attack, which took place ten days ago, occurred after the 24-year-old woman became involved in an argument with the two sisters. The suspects claim their victim began calling them names, leading to one suspect grabbing the woman while her sibling slashed her with the knife. The victim suffered slash wounds to her face and body and was evacuated to Beersheba's Soroka Hospital. The suspects confessed to the assault.
