State employees from all government offices - including Bituah Leumi (National Insurance Institute) and the Israel Lands Authority -as well as from Customs, Income Tax, and Value-added tax (VAT) Offices will go on strike on Tuesday.
The offices will be closed to the public and workers will not accept telephone calls.
The workers are protesting conditions set forth by the Finance Ministry regarding a tender for bank services for state workers. The workers say that the deal adopted by the Finance Ministry is worse than the one they already have through Bank Yahav.
