TA court extends remand of driver who killed officer in car accident

The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court on Saturday extended by four days the remand of Moshe Cohen, 45, who was arrested after he killed a police officer in a traffic accident overnight Friday.
The accident, which occurred on Highway 5 at the Morsha Junction, took the life of Officer Jackie Lugasi. Cohen was subsequently charged with manslaughter, negligence, and drunk driving.
