TA woman's killer admits to 2nd murder

Ze'ev Biso says he strangled second woman to death in July 2005.

A man who was arrested two weeks ago for murdering a prostitute in Tel Aviv has confessed to the killing of another woman, police said on Thursday. Ze'ev Biso was picked up on March 16 in connection with the death of 46-year old Yardena Marsh a day earlier and during his interrogation he also said he strangled to death Zehava Saado, 39, in July last year. When Biso was arrested he initially told detectives that an accidental discharge of his gun caused Marsh's death, but later admitted he killed her intentionally. The 50-year old said he murdered Saado, whom police believe was also a prostitute, in their flat in South Tel Aviv after an argument over money. He left her body in the apartment for a few days while he decided what to do with it and eventually threw it in the garbage bin and destroyed the evidence in the flat. Detectives examining Biso's story found that there have been no signs of Saado since July and are checking the rest of his account. Biso was remanded in custody for an extra 13 days on Thursday. Marsh, who was known as Shirly Golan when she was murdered, was born as a male and was one of the first people in Israel to have a sex change. She was also one of the country's most well-known prostitutes.
