Talansky request to testify behind closed doors denied

New York financier Morris Talansky, who is scheduled to testify in Israel in an investigation against outgoing Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, was denied his request to testify behind closed doors, Israel Radio reported Sunday. Talansky is a key witness in a case against the prime minister, in which police suspect Olmert illegally borrowed large sums of money from him in return for personal favors.
