Terror victims petition to stop transfer of money to PA in Gaza

More than 1000 terror victims will present a petition to the government on Sunday, calling on the State of Israel to halt the transfer of funds to the Palestinian Authority in the Gaza Strip. Initiated by the non-profit organization, OneFamily Fund, the petition claims that the government aid aimed at easing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza is actually falling into the wrong hands. OneFamily Fund Chairman Marc Belzberg said on Thursday that the transfer of funds could instead end up financing terrorism in Gaza. "It is not possible that on one hand, Israel acts against Hamas terrorists and the government calls on the international community to ostracize Hamas, and on the other hand, the government strengthens Hamas by transferring funds to them," he said.
