Israel's Tourism Ministry announced on Saturday that it had agreed to sponsor Arsenal, considered one of the best soccer teams in England and supported by many Jewish fans. The details of the agreement are to be announced at a press conference in Tel Aviv on Sunday morning by Arsenal's managing-director, Keith Edelman, and Tourism Minister Avraham Hirschson.
The agreement was signed "to encourage European tourism to Israel," said Jonathan Pulik, foreign press consultant of the Tourism Ministry.
