The trial of police cavalryman David Edri, charged with trampling a man during the 2005 evacuation of Amona, will continue Sunday.
In his defense Edri claims that he cantered towards the protestor according to regulations and made every attempt to reign in the horse when he saw that the demonstrator - Ofra resident Yehuda Etzion - would not give ground.
Officers in the police cavalry unit are set to testify during Sunday's hearing in order to corroborate Edri's version. A film documenting the trampling will also be screened.
