Two of Israel's universities on Sunday made The London Times' list of the world's 200 best universities.
The Hebrew University of Jerusalem reached the 128th spot, while Tel Aviv University was ranked as number 151.
The Hebrew University was also ranked as number 39 in the category of arts and humanities.
The Times' list, now in its fourth year running, is compiled based on various standards. Universities are ranked according to reviews of academic articles, the number of mentions the articles receive and the student-to-lecturer ratio, among other factors.
