Two men murdered in Kiryat Ata drive-by

Two youths with criminal records shot while sitting in parked car; police looking for attackers' vehicle.

The two men murdered in their car Friday night in Kiryat Ata have been identified as Razo Goralshveli, 27, of Kiryat Ata, and Yaniv Amar, 26, of Kiryat Hayim, Israel Radio reported Saturday. The two were both shot in the head and chest, and a vehicle was seen escaping the scene according to an Army Radio report on Friday night. The scene was roped off and police have set up roadblocks in the area to try and catch the shooters. Around 11:15 p.m. police were alerted that gunshots had been heard near a busy Kiryat Ata junction. Police officers arriving on the scene found the bodies of two men who were apparently shot while sitting inside the parked car. Zevulun District Police said the victims were known to the police. Police are looking for the attackers' vehicle, a Toyota Corolla according to eye witness reports collected at the scene.
