Two Palestinians detained at IDF checkpoints; stabbing attack foiled

IDF soldiers at the Beit-Iba checkpoint near Nablus managed to foil a stabbing attack on Thursday evening.
A Palestinian man who arrived at the checkpoint drew a knife at an IDF soldier. After searching his belongings he was found to be carrying an improvised explosives device and several rifle bullets. Border Police detonated the bomb in a controlled explosion.
Meanwhile, at the Hawara checkpoint, soldiers detained a Palestinian man carrying a 10-cm knife.
