Unemployment down to 8.7% in first quarter of 2006

Unemployment went down in the first quarter of 2006 by 0.2% compared to the same time last year, according to data released by the Central Bureau of Statistics. At the end of that period, 8.7% of the Israeli workforce was unemployed.
