Veteran reporter Dan Semama succumbs to cancer at 60

Veteran Israel Radio and Israel Television reporter Dan Semama died on Saturday night at Tel Hashomer Medical center after a year long battle with cancer.
He was 60 at the time of his death, dying at a relatively young age, as did his father Andre Semama, a noted foreign correspondent, and one of the founding members of the Foreign Press Association in Israel.
The funeral will take place at 3 p.m., Monday, at Kibbutz Einat.
Semama is survived by three daughters and their children.
