As part of the Israel Restaurant Conference, Kiroskay Palbam CEO Eyal Yakar presented a revolution in dishwasher service and maintenance: The three-minute dishwasher technical service.
Some 96% of restaurant owners experience difficulties with human dishwashers, most of whom are foreign workers, and the average time for a technician to arrive to service mechanical dishwashers is about 24 hours, a Kiroskay Palbam survey revealed.
The dish worker technical service package includes a dishwasher, high-quality soap, 24/7 service calls and the revolutionary “dish-worker solution.” Employees receive professional training on preventive maintenance and how to handle malfunctions. This greatly reduces the occurrence of malfunctions in dishwashers and helps facilitate an immediate response in the event of a mechanical “class A malfunction.”
In the framework of the new service, Kiroskay Palbam opened a training course for young, recently discharged soldiers, and trained them in repair, preventive maintenance and to immediate service to prevent damage to a restaurant’s operation. Recruitment is being carried out through leading manpower companies. Subject to the legislative process, the positions will be recognized as avoda muadefet, or “preferred work.”
Kiroskay Pelbam represents some 70 leading manufacturers from around the world in the field of kitchen equipment systems.
