Meet Beethoven The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra continues its Classics for Kids series of narrated concerts with conductor Ronnie Porat, focusing this time on the life and work of Beethoven.

An enchanted performance of music, acrobats, light and dance is presented in the framework of the Israel Festival at the Mediatheque Holon. The show, Luma, created by American fringe artist Michael Marlin, is a mix of black theater, light effects and comical stunts.

The YMCAmeri concert series hosts the renowned Modigliani Quartet for its next concert. The French string quartet, one of the world’s leading chamber ensembles, will perform next Thursday at the YMCA Jerusalem in a program of Ravel, Beethoven and more.

ENJOY THE KLEZMER
The Chokerlia band presents a concert tonight in Tel Aviv. Israel Zohar will play the clarinet together with a band of five.

Focus on food
The third and final exhibition focusing on the relationship between the culinary world and art opens today at the Chava Gallery in Holon. Do we eat to live or live to eat? “Lip Service” explores the complicated dialogue between humans and the food we eat.
