According to the report, the Computer For Every Child organization decided to issue 120 computers to children in Haifa, and Mayor Yona Yahav announced that the city had decided to give all of them to Ethiopian children as part of its affirmative action program to help absorb and strengthen this population. A municipal spokeswoman said it was important to close the gap between Ethiopian and other children, and in this era schoolchildren are often required to complete homework and other projects on computers.
