Good news from Herzliya: The Public Council for the Prevention of Noise and Air Pollution and the Ministry for Environmental Protection have found minimal radiation at a number of sites checked in a recent survey, reports www.local.co.il. The testers checked several residential buildings on Kalisher and Rambam streets, the residential part of the Sharon hotel, the offices at the Marina, and an office building in Rehov Medinat Hayehudim, and found radiation levels of 0.1 to 1.1 microwatts per square centimeter at each site, well within the permitted level of up to 40 microwatts per square centimeter.
