Suzuki Tower gets the go-ahead

The Tel Aviv District Planning and Construction Committee has approved plans to build a 20-story business and commercial tower on a 4.5 dunam block of land between Yigal Allon and Boxenbaum streets, reports www.local.co.il. The plans for the so-called Suzuki Tower call for the 20-story building to contain 15,129 square meters of construction, while reserving 950 square meters of open space for the benefit of workers and residents in the area. Parking will be underground. The report said the committee's approval will enable the evacuation of hazardous old businesses from the land and is part of a general plan for the renewal of the area.
