2 shot and wounded by Hamas policemen during Gaza demonstration

Two people were wounded Saturday when they were shot by Hamas policemen during a demonstration in the Gaza Strip. Some 3,000 people from various Palestinian factions - including the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) - took to the streets, calling for Palestinian reconciliation. Top PFLP official Jamil Majdalawi expressed concern that the split between the West Bank and Gaza governments would be perpetuated, Israel Radio reported.
