Hamas leader in Lebanon Osama Hamdan proposed on Sunday that Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas step down if he cannot find a way to work with Hamas, Israel Radio reported.
Hamdan told Al-Jazeera that the tension between Hamas and Fatah was the result of Fatah's desire to force Hamas to accept their solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
