Al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden scolded followers in a new audio tape Monday, saying they had "been lax in one duty, which is to unite your ranks." The message appeared to reflect a growing disarray among Iraq's Sunni insurgents and his client group in the country - both facing heavy US military pressure and an uprising among Sunni tribesmen. In the brief audio tape played on Al-Jazeera television, the terror boss told his acolytes to "beware of division ... . The Muslim world is waiting for you to gather under one banner." While the authenticity of the tape could not be verified immediately, the voice resembled that of bin Laden in previous messages. Al-Jazeera did not say how it obtained the tape, bin Laden's third this year.
