Baghdad's international airport will close indefinitely on Sunday morning, ahead of an expected verdict in Saddam Hussein's trial, Iraqi state television reported Saturday. The closure coincides with a curfew in the Iraqi capital and two surrounding provinces ahead of an expected verdict in the trial of deposed leader Saddam Hussein. The airport will close at 6 a.m. (0300 GMT) and remain closed until further notice, a Transportation Ministry official said on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media.
