Bodies of 2 US soldiers missing for more than a year found in Iraq

The Defense Department has confirmed that the remains of two US soldiers missing for more than a year have been found in Iraq. The Pentagon says Army Sgt. Alex Jimenez and Pfc. Byron Fouty were ambushed south of Baghdad in May 2007. They had been listed as "missing/captured." The government says the remains were positively identified Thursday, a day after their discovery. Jimenez was 25 years old, and Fouty was 19. Their families were notified this week ahead of the government's public announcement. Pfc. Joseph Anzack Jr. also was killed in the attack.
