Dubai police: 2 arrests in Chechen's slaying

Two suspects were arrested on Sunday in connection with last week's slaying of a former Chechen rebel, Dubai's police chief said. Sulim Yamadayev was shot March 28 in Dubai in a brazen daylight killing. He was a bitter adversary of Chechnya's powerful Moscow-backed leader. Police Chief Lt. Gen. Dahi Khalfan Tamim said that an Iranian and a Tajik were in custody and that four other suspects were at large. He also told a news conference that one of those in custody had implicated a senior official in Chechnya's government.
