Egyptian police arrested 27 members of the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood group gathered at a Mediterranean resort, the Interior Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.
The ministry contended that the men were meeting to strategize about political activities in the teacher's professional association, but a leading Brotherhood member claimed the detainees were vacationing on a trip arranged by the group.
