Gunmen stormed a Sunni mosque near Tikrit on Thursday, killing four people and wounding 15, police said.
The attack occurred at 5 a.m. in Alam, just northeast of Saddam Hussein's hometown of Tikrit, 130 kilometers (80 miles) north of Baghdad.
