Hamas denies connection to the thwarted car bomb attack in Haifa
By JPOST.COM STAFF
Hamas spokesman Ayman Taha denied on Sunday that his group was connected the car bomb attack thwarted in Haifa on Saturday.
In an interview to the Iranian Alalem television channel, Taha expressed support in those behind the attack, noting that getting the explosive-laden car into the Lev Hamifratz shopping mall's parking area despite all of Israel's security measures was a great achievement.
The Jerusalem Post could not independently confirm the report.
