Police clarified that rock throwers damaged an Israeli bus traveling in the West Bank on Monday night near the town of Silwad, and that initial reports of a suspected shooting attack were false.
No injuries were reported in the incident that took place on Route 60.
Police said the bus was able to continue on its route toward Ariel following the incident.
Security forces were in the area searching for suspects.
The incident comes after a Palestinian woman stabbed and lightly injured an Israeli civilian earlier Monday near the Gush Etzion junction.
In a separate incident in the West Bank on Monday, an Israeli man was seriously hurt after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and run. The circumstances of the event were being investigated.
