Iran’s Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi on Wednesday called on members of the Iranian diaspora to intensify lobbying efforts with governments and public institutions in their countries of residence, urging them to sustain international support for the Iranian people until the Islamic Republic regime falls.

In a message directed to Iranians living abroad, Pahlavi said on X that the diaspora had already played an important role in shifting global opinion in recent weeks, particularly through large demonstrations held during the recent “Global Day of Action.”

“Your efforts and work in recent weeks, and your remarkable presence on the Global Day of Action, have played a key role in changing global public opinion and influencing decision-makers to support the people of Iran,” he wrote.

The Global Day of Action was called for on February 14 by Pahlavi and saw a million Iranians take to the streets in anti-regime and pro-monarchy demonstrations in cities such as Toronto, Munich and Los Angeles. Pahlavi himself addressed the Munich crowd.

The coming weeks will be critical for Iran's future

The prince also stated in his message that the coming weeks will be critical for Iran’s future and urged supporters abroad to maintain pressure on political leaders and institutions.

“Your role in sustaining this support to bring an end to the disgraceful reign of the Islamic Republic is vital,” he wrote.

The exiled crown prince asked Iranians living overseas to contact political representatives and policymakers in their host countries and press them to continue backing the Iranian people.

“Persuade them that support for the people of Iran must continue until the very moment the Islamic Republic falls. Also emphasize the inviolability of Iran’s territorial integrity,” he wrote. “Stress full commitment to the will of the Iranian people in establishing the country’s future system of government. And insist on the utmost care to prevent harm to civilians.”

Pahlavi further encouraged continued participation in public demonstrations abroad, saying large marches remain an important way to show international support for political change in Iran. The crown prince ended his statement with a message urging Iranians abroad to remain engaged in what he described as a historic moment.

“Decisive moments lie ahead of us—moments that will shape Iran’s future for decades and centuries to come,” he wrote. “Redouble your efforts.”
