US President Donald Trump said Iran has committed a "serious violation" of the ceasefire but still thinks he can get a peace deal, ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl posted on X/Twitter on Sunday.

"It will happen. One way or another," Trump told Karl regarding a potential peace deal. "The nice way or the hard way. It’s going to happen. You can quote me."

Trump had said in a Truth Social post on Sunday that Iran had committed a "total violation" of the ceasefire after Iran "decided to fire bullets" in the Strait of Hormuz.

"Many of them were aimed at a French Ship, and a Freighter from the United Kingdom," said Trump. "That wasn’t nice, was it?"

Trump: US representatives going to Pakistan

In addition, US representatives are going to Islamabad, Pakistan, "tomorrow night" for Iran negotiations, Trump added in his Sunday Truth Social post.

A White House official later confirmed to The Jerusalem Post that US Vice President JD Vance, special envoy Steve Witkoff, and President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner would lead the delegation heading to Pakistan.

"We’re offering a very fair and reasonable deal, and I hope they take it because, if they don’t, the United States is going to knock out every single power plant, and every single bridge, in Iran," said Trump. "NO MORE MR. NICE GUY!"

"If they don’t take the DEAL, it will be my Honor to do what has to be done, which should have been done to Iran, by other Presidents, for the last 47 years," Trump continued.

"IT’S TIME FOR THE IRAN KILLING MACHINE TO END!" Trump concluded.

Iran's Tasnim news agency reported that the country had no plan to send a delegation to Pakistan for negotiations while the US maintained a naval blockade over the Strait of Hormuz.
