Threats made by Western countries to slap sanctions on Iran over its controversial nuclear program were "psychological warfare," the country's Foreign Ministry spokesman said Saturday. Mohammad Ali Hosseini said Iran was not intimidated by threats to impose sanctions and repeated his country's pledge to continue pursuing its nuclear program, according to Iran's state-run television on a report posted on its English Web site. Hosseini "ruled out Western threats of sanctions against Iran as sheer psychological warfare," the Web site reported.
