At least two civilians were killed and six were wounded on Monday morning in a roadside bombing in central Baghdad, Iraqi officials said.
Police and hospital officials said the blast was aimed at a police patrol but missed its target on the busy Nidhal Street.
The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they weren't authorized to release the information.
