Iraqi police say two people have been killed and two wounded in a suicide car bombing in the northern city of Mosul.
A senior official at the provincial security headquarters says the attacker detonated his explosives Wednesday at an Iraqi military checkpoint in the Zanjili neighborhood.
The official gave the casualty toll on condition of anonymity because he wasn't authorized to release the information.
